Hope College broke ground on a spacious new home for the college鈥檚 thriving Department of Economics and Business which will help transform the program and countless young lives, while complementing the east entrance of downtown Holland.
Althea Jones, a multidisciplinary artist based in Northeast Ohio, will present the address 鈥淪uperhero Mode: Taking Charge of Your Story and Success鈥 as the 2025 Women鈥檚 History Month Lecture at Hope College on Thursday, March 6, at 3:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.
Hope College received the Higher Education Excellence in Distinction (HEED) Award for the fourth year in a row from INSIGHT Into Academia magazine, the oldest and largest diversity-focused publication in higher education.
Carol Bremer-Bennett, executive director of World Renew, will present a lecture on 鈥淭he Power We Carry: Belonging as a Sacred Responsibility,鈥 as part of Hope College鈥檚 recognition of National Indigenous Peoples鈥 observances. The lecture will be held on Thursday, Oct. 23, at 3:30 p.m. in the recital hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts. The public is invited and admission is free.
